This year sees a Citroen Xsara VTS entered in the Dunlop Sport Maxx Cup under the Witmun Engineering Team BX Sport banner. The team have a number of wins and lap records from the previous 3 seasons in Classic Thunder and DTRC with their Citroen BX 16v so let's hope the guys can keep up the good work.
Starting in 2008 Gary Cole and Team BX Sport are entering the Citroen Xsara vts into full competition and with the retirement of the BX 16v racecar we find ourse;ves without an active BX 16v in competition.
We wish Gary and his team continued sucess and you can follow their progress at Garys new site BX Sport.co.uk

The Car
The race car is a 1987 Citroen BX 16valve Phase 1. The car has been stripped down to a race weight and has even had all of the underseal and panel sealant removed for the process of weight reduction. The engine is still the BX 16v unit but it has benefitted from the knowledge of John Witty who has a wealth of experience in racing circles and the suspension is set up to suit the extra power and loss of weight.
